You know you're home when...

As you probably figured out from the silence here, the last few months have been very busy.  Seriously - who knew it could get busier than it was?  But this ex-pat experience is pushing and pulling and stretching us in ways we didn't even know we could be pushed pulled or stretched.  We will try to get all caught up on the reasons for the business, but for now we can skip to the good part: to celebrate surviving the last few months we took a quick long-weekend trip to Krabi, Thailand.  And it was amazing!!  When we get the photos loaded we will post a real update, but the summary trip report is: beach, pool, sleep, read, eat, massage; repeat in random order for four days.

We knew the vacation was over and we were back home on the final leg of our flight last night.  Not two seconds after wheels touched down in Blore and the cabin was filled with the wonderful sounds of India:  "Ma'am, please remain in your seat until the plane has arrived at the gate."  "Sir, please turn off your phone until we have arrived at the gate."  "Sir, please sit down until we have arrived at the gate."  "Sir, please do not remove your luggage from the overhead..."  "Sir, if you don't turn off your phone I will have to call the pol..."  "Ma'am, please remain seated until...."

Ah, home sweet home.
