Apparently many of our American friends are thieves and liars walking
around with stolen and phoney credit cards. Or at least that what
Verified by Visa seems to think.
So yes, here in India the second layer of verification for on-line transactions does not always work very well, making Oxfam donations unfortunately difficult for some of you. We often get declined as well, which is really hard since they keep US business hours. Anyway, if you are having trouble making a Trailwalker donation, it is probably the final verification stage. Usually the credit card company will be able to contact the verification company and get the transaction to be processed. If that doesn't work, send either of us a quick e-mail and we can offer some other options.
