As we recently posted, we planned our first road trip and headed off to Hampi last weekend. The trip was really amazing, and is worthy of a post all on it's own. However I am dedicating this Seven on Saturday to just the animals of Hampi...which were many, and full of personality.
1. Darryl the deer - our breakfast companion - he was really demanding.
2. Ed the Emu (or as they seem to say it in India "Hemu").
3. These monkeys didn't get names, because we couldn't stop laughing about how vain the one monkey was - he just kept looking at himself in the mirror - and how mad we would be if this was our bike because the monkeys around this area just eat away at the seats and handlebars!
4. This guy just really wanted to be in our group photo at the Virupaksha temple...who can really blame him, we are super fun to hang out with.
5. This is Chip, he was really possessive of his plastic water bottle and he was thinking about how to steal our bag.
6. The dog and birds have a stare down on the top of a temple wall.
7. It's time to head home after a long day of work...
