Almost home!

After a few false starts, and much bureaucratic waiting, we have the keys to our apartment!!  Our air shipment will be delivered on Tues, and our boat shipment will be delivered... well, sometime soon.  We will officially move in when our boat shipment gets delivered, as that has all our furniture and housing items.  Hopefully we will be in before the end of the month!!!

Until then, here is a photo and video tour of our new place. 

As we have mentioned, we are going to be in a great neighborhood, close to Cubbon Park, and lots of restaurants and shops.

The layout of the apartment is pretty... um, unique.  But we are going to be in India for two years, so we might as well have an interesting place to live.

The building itself isn't amazing, but this is what it looks like from the road.  We are on the top floor and will have the roof deck as well.

So yeah, nothing special from the outside.  But we fell in love with the main room on the right side corner; all windows and high ceilings and amazingness.  Here is the main room from the inside.
