So we got the keys to the flat, our air shipment was delivered, and we are starting to move in.
This is what professional packing looks like:
A credit card wallet, a small PostIt note pack, and four paperclips, wrapped in about six sheets of heavy wrapping paper, buried in a "Living Room" box.
In addition to the air shipment, we also inherited a bed from some ex-pats who just left. It was delivered from a home about 40 minutes away from us in a tuk tuk truck by two rather large men and one smaller man. I couldn't get a good picture of the delivery guys, but I couldn't stop singing "fat guy in a little tuk tuk."
And yes, the mattress was too big for the elevator, which is 8 flights of stairs for those of you counting.
So far we have only unpacked two things: Rummikub and ...
... a French press. Yeah real coffee!!
